Crowns and Bridges
When your teeth are falling apart—or out—you may not need extractions or veneers or Lumineers surgery. Crowns and bridges reinforce weakened teeth after decay, trauma, root canals, and other dental treatments. Crowns restore single teeth while bridges are rows of crowns that replace one or more adjacent missing teeth.

Composite Fillings
As a cosmetic dentist, Dr. Barksdale doesn’t simply want to fill an empty space in your tooth if you’ve developed a cavity. He wants to make it appear as if you never had that cavity in the first place. That’s why he uses composite fillings, also called white fillings or tooth-colored fillings. Some types of fillings can show through the teeth, but these never do!

Inlays and Onlays
Minor damage to a tooth may not call for a crown; Dr. Barksdale can often repair a tooth with inlays or onlays. Inlays cover a portion of the top and interior parts of your tooth, while onlays may cover the top and one outer surface or cusp. Just like composite fillings, these are chosen to match the color of your whole tooth for a natural, seamless look.
